Hey there!
I'd like to get to know you a little bit. So, I'll do the start:
My name is Dennis, I'm 22 years old and I live in Schüttorf, Germany. I'm studying Business and Economics and Japanese at the Ruhr University in Bochum. I love playing (retro) videogames of which the Mario Kart and Smash Bros. series are my favourite. Besides videogames, my other big passion is playing the piano and playing video game music respectively. :D
Tell me something about you.
My name is Alex, like Gecko, I'm German. I live in Nuremberg (you americans might rememeber it from history ^^)I study Anglistics, German, Art and History to become a teacher at the FA University Erlangen-Nuremberg.
Ever since I had internet I've been into emulation. First memory of n64 emulation is getting Mario 64 running on corn with my AMD k6 200mhz.
Modding is another hobby of mine, i messed around with Half Life a lot when I was younger.
So texture modding for N64 fascinated me right away. I started with a Mario 64 cartoon pack, wich I didn't finish, cause my tecnique was very time consumimg, and by the time i was working on it a very nice and faithful pack got released. It was gitech who first got me the idea of using photos as base material. So currently I'm improving my skills by (hopefully) improving Zelda Ocarina of Time.
My favourite game ever is probably Chrono Trigger. Besides Emulation and Video Games, I like cooking, movies and anyting art related 3d or 2d, digital or analogue.

I'm Jason, 31, originally from UK now in South Africa. cerebus5 on the emutalk forums. Been a Nintendo fan since the NES days right up until today but my peak was the N64 time. So I got into emus and eventually stumbled across the retexturing scene. Never done a texture myself, not even the slightest bit artistic, and frankly I do not have the time - if you knew my life you'd understand. But I am a big supporter of the work you guys are doing.

I'm Charlie. I started this website hoping to create a central place for people to stumble-upon their favorite retro games in glorious HD and get them up and playing in as little time as possible. Looks like it's already succeeding :)
I'm 23 and live in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. I work in Graphic Design and Web Development (http://www.csdesignco.com). I love the retro stuff too (Zelda Link to the Past, Mario Kart 64, FFVII, etc), but my favorite game has always been and will always be StarCraft.
I'm thrilled that there's so many of you on here already. While 55 may not seem like a huge number for many websites, it's a good start for such a niche community like ours.
