Welcome to the N64 Redux forums. I encourage you to register for an account and post a message if you have any interest in re-texturing or playing re-textured games for the N64.
In time we will have emulators, plugins, and packages posted, which will allow you to play old N64 games (such as Mario 64 and Goldeneye) on your PC with glorious HD graphics.
There should also be software and tutorials to help you get started doing any of your own re-texturing.

Hey Stoobs. Yes, my goal (our goal) is to make this place a "one-stop" for all of the content that authors allow us to provide. We are covering the bandwidth, and this is *not* a for-profit entity or anything - so hopefully no one will have any issues with their content being posted here.
I am having a hectic week (just moved as well) and don't have much free time over the next few days. I would immensely appreciate any help we can get with searching the old forums (emutalk, etc.) and posting links to content there. Perhaps a new forum post would be adequate for gathering up links.
Hopefully I will get some time over the weekend to get more information up. We'll need some posting guidelines to avoid any legal infringement (roms, etc.). We'll also need a handful of contributors who are willing to post tutorials and blog articles. These are promoted to the front page and will help new visitors get a rundown of what exactly goes on here.

Yes, we don't mind. There is a project forum here, and you could've started the post there and then we'd move it to the page. Try posting at the projects page now. I gave you the permission to.

I worked on a project page for Castlevania LOD for 2 days and my IE crashed before I could post it and I haven't had time to redo it yet.
That is why I have not posted much yet.

Hola, longtime Emutalk lurker here, (never been able to get my account confirmed or wasn't able to post for some reason, but whatever I'll try and work here). I was really inspired by Gitech's LoD work and really want to give Retexturing a shot for myself, I have very little photoshop experience though 
. I looked at the way Gitech did the tile replacement and Majora's mask and was slightly relieved, perhaps it is not as daunting as I think it is.
I need to practice and play around with photoshop, Maybe I'll start small with something like Snowboard kids, then move up to my eventual epic goal, the beastly Mystical Ninja Goemon.
If you need help I could send you a few psd on how I do textures.
1080° is IMO a good game to play arround and practice and so is Mario 64.
Don't put your goals to high. Very few people manage to retexture a game theirselves. It's probably a thousand ours of work.
Yeah that would be great if you could send some over.
